Sorting and Inventory
We sort your items the same day! Anything we don’t accept can be picked up within three days, or you can choose to have them donated. Once we’ve priced the accepted items (based on brand, style, condition, and demand), we’ll email you an inventory list for your reference.
Your Items, In-Store and Online
We sell your items both in-store and online, giving them double the exposure! Your items remain with us for 90 days.
At the end of 90 days:
• You can choose to pick up any unsold items or have them donated to Flat River Ministries in Lowell, MI.
• We’ll contact you if you selected return and you’ll have 7 days to pick up before items are donated.
Earn Money as your items sell!
You earn 30% of the selling price for most items.
Payment can be picked up or requested online anytime during or after the 90-day consignment period.
DROP OFF RULES
We have a few important updates to our consignment policies to help us maintain the quality and experience our shoppers expect — and to keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. Please take a moment to read through these changes before your next drop-off:
🗓️ NEW Drop-Off Schedule
We are now only accepting consignments Wednesday through Sunday.
We will no longer take consignments on Mondays or Tuesdays.
This helps us catch up with processing, reset the sales floor, and keep the store clean, organized, and functional for everyone.
🚫 No More Trash Bags
Items must be brought in reusable bags or baskets, freshly washed and neatly folded. Trash bags are difficult to sort and often signal lower-quality or unwashed clothing.
❌ No Loose Items
All items must be contained in a bag or bin. If items are loose or just handed over piece by piece, we will not sort through them. Help us stay organized — and don’t make us chase rogue socks around the store.
🧺 Items Must Be Clean
If we find even one dirty item, the entire consignment will be rejected and returned. This is especially common with kids’ clothes — no spit-up, no pet hair, no weird smells. If it’s not clean, it’s not coming in.
🚫 No Undergarments
We do not accept underwear, bras, or lingerie of any kind.
If any undergarments are found, we will reject the entire consignment. Please, we’re begging you — don’t make us sort through your old undies. 🙃
🙅♀️ No Basics or Layering Items
We are no longer accepting plain camisoles, tanks, or solid onesies unless they are top-selling name brands. These pieces don’t sell well and clutter our racks.
🧹 Folded or Forget It
If your items are not neatly folded, we will not go through them. This helps us process items faster and keeps your consignment in good shape.
🕒 Same-Day Pickup Required
If your items are not accepted, they must be picked up the same day. If not, they’ll be donated, and your containers will not be returned. Please don’t ghost your drop-offs.
🧒 Name Brand Kids’ Clothing Only
We are only accepting name brand kids’ items. Generic brands like Garanimals and Wonder Nation are just too inexpensive new to be resold at fair value.
📦 Limiting Shein & Fast Fashion
We are reducing the number of Shein and fast-fashion internet brands we accept. Basics from these brands will not be considered. Trendy or standout styles in great condition may still be approved — but we’re curating with intention.
