HOW SWAP WORKS

1. Bring In Your Items

Drop off your items Wednesday–Saturday from 11am–6pm. No appointment needed.

Items should be:

  • Freshly washed and neatly folded
  • Packed in one structured bag, basket, or bin
  • No trash bags
  • No hangers, please
  • Limit of one bag, bin, or basket per visit

Check-in takes under 10 minutes.

We do not accept Swap drop offs on Sundays, Mondays, or Tuesdays. These days give our team time to process inventory, organize racks, refresh displays, and keep the store easy to shop.

2. We Price Everything

Our team reviews and prices your items based on style, condition, brand, season, and current demand.

Once priced, we calculate your Swap value based on the final tag price.

3. Get Instant Store Credit

You receive 40% of the tag price as store credit, added instantly to your WearForward account.

No waiting for items to sell. No tracking payouts. Just immediate credit.

Use your store credit the same day to shop in store and swap your closet for something new to you.

QUALITY STANDARDS

We want Swap items to be pieces that feel current, clean, and exciting to shop.

Please bring items that are:

  • Freshly washed
  • Neatly folded
  • Free of stains
  • Free of odors
  • Free of pet hair
  • In excellent condition
  • Seasonally appropriate
  • A good fit for the WearForward vibe

If even one item is dirty, unwashed, or not in acceptable condition, the entire swap may be rejected.

DROP-OFF RULES

To keep things organized and make the process smooth for everyone, our drop-off rules are strictly enforced.

Drop-Off Days

Swap drop offs are accepted Wednesday through Saturday from 11am–6pm only.

We do not accept Swap drop offs on Sundays, Mondays, or Tuesdays.

One Bag, Bin, or Basket Per Visit

Swap limit is one bag, bin, or basket per visit.

Please be intentional when choosing what to bring. Separate your best pieces from basics, older items, out-of-season items, and pieces that are better suited for donation.

This helps our team process items faster and keeps the shop full of strong inventory.

No Trash Bags

Trash bags are not accepted.

They rip easily, items get tossed around, and they make it harder for our team to keep everything organized.

Items must be brought in a structured bag, basket, or bin.

No Loose Items

All items must be contained in a bag, bin, or basket. Loose items will not be sorted.

Clean Items Only

Items must be freshly washed, folded, and ready for the sales floor.

If even one item is found to be dirty, the entire swap may be rejected and returned.

No stains, pet hair, odors, or unwashed items.

Folded Items Required

Items must be neatly folded. Unfolded or messy items will not be sorted.

No Undergarments

We do not accept underwear, bras, lingerie, or intimate apparel of any kind.

If undergarments are found, the entire swap will be rejected.

No Basic Layering Pieces

Plain camisoles, tanks, and basic layering items are not accepted unless they are top-selling name brands.

Fast Fashion Policy

We do not accept Shein or ultra-cheap fast fashion brands.

These items are priced too low for us to justify the labor involved in sorting, pricing, tagging, photographing, listing, and merchandising them.

Target brands are acceptable when they are stylish, current, and in excellent condition.
